For this experiment, we made inorganic and organic compounds using gumdrops, raisins and toothpicks as the models to represent it. What I learned was view a visual representation of molecule structures using these materials. Before creating each structure I first had to create the dot structures for each compound. I learned that some shapes are 3D, 2D, flat, and round. In conclusion, I now have a better understanding of inorganic and organic compounds, molecular structures, and dot structures.
